Can I book an medicolegal assessment without a letter of approach?
No, a letter of approach will be required in order to secure an appointment date/time in the expert(s) calendar. We do not accept self-referrals. This would need to come from a solicitor.
Can my appointment be remote?
Yes, in most cases, assessments can take place remotely if this is the client’s preference however, in some cases, a face-to-face consultation would be required at some stage in the medicolegal process. The remote assessment would happen over Zoom or Teams.
How much notice do I have to give if I were to cancel my appointment?
We have a 48h cancellation policy however, we kindly ask patients to give us as much notice possible so that we can offer the cancelled appointment to someone else.
Can I come accompanied to my appointment?
You are more than welcome to come to the appointment with support.
